4 SOLUTIONS FOR AN ITCHY SCALP

Once an itchy scalp creeps up on you it seems like you are just scratching it for days. Some of us try to be incognito in the situation and just do the “head pat dance”. However the occasional head pat, is just a temporary solution for the underlying issue. Whether that be due to dry scalp, hair growth or a difference of products you are using on your hair, here are 4 solutions to get rid of your itchy scalp.

Peppermint Oil

Peppermint Oil is one of the strongest essential oils out there. While it carries many other household uses, it is also a great oil to use in your hair. Peppermint oil is great for reducing hair loss as well as thickening hair. Yet another use for the loved peppermint oil is getting rid of an itchy scalp. I mentioned in my previous posts, how peppermint oil has such a high potency that it should be used with a carrier oil.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can be looked at as a miracle healer for just about anything. This oil can reduce an itchy scalp in a heart beat as well as thicken those beautiful tresses of yours at the same time. Coconut oil can be used in conjunction with peppermint oil for a mixture your hair will love.

Aloe Vera Juice

Aloe Vera Juice is my holy grail to get rid of an itchy scalp. The fact that it doubles as a great detangled is a double win in my book. The aloe vera can be applied by using a spray bottle directly to the scalp, and the itch is stopped in its tracks.
